Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is breast cancer awareness month. It is important to have early detection through screenings. Survival rates are good if caught early. This should apply to both men and women.

Call your healthcare provider and schedule your annual health exam. The exam could be free of charge with your annual physical exam. This small act could save your life.

As part of your self care, you should check your breast monthly for any abnormal bumps and bruises.

A few risk factors include genetics, lifestyle, and hormonal therapy. See the website for additional information.

Just keeping you informed.
