Welcome to 2025!

I hope the new year has been wonderful and you have accomplished your 2024 goals. Remember you can manage anything as long as you break it down into manageable tasks.

Take the time to imagine how you will feel once you have reached your goal (s). Whatever the goal, it can be accomplished by taking tiny steps, to achieve your dream. The first step is to name the goal with an end date and hope it sparks excitement within. You can achieve your goal with some effort, but you have to be focused.

Start small and implement one action to move toward the goal. Find or create a picture of yourself with the completed goal. Hang it in a prominent place so you can see it daily to remind you of the goal. If you are trying to lose weight, create or find a picture of yourself at your ideal weight. Hang this picture in a prominent place so you see it daily. Be realistic about your goal, so you do not set yourself up for failure.

Dieting can be challenging. Remove one item from your diet (stop drinking soda or eating bread with every meal and have water). Find an exercise class you enjoy and attend several days per week. These are only suggestions because changing old habits can be challenging and something has to fill the void. If not you will revert to old behaviors.

Doing small things can really impact on your life and give you a strong sense of accomplishment.

Good luck, you can do it! Just decide…

Have a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2025!
