Pilates vs Yoga

Pilates and yoga are exercises that built strength and flexibility.   Pilates increases your core strength,  posture, and can ease back pain.  Yoga can also ease low back and neck pain, improve balance, enhance sleep, eases stress while utilizing mindfulness and meditative movements.

I find the difference between Pilates and yoga personal preference.   I enjoy the rapid change in movement with Pilates much more than yoga.  Although both are relaxing and stimulating, yoga utilizes slow and repetitive meditative motions.

Try something different and add one of these exercise modalities to your routine.  We all can benefit with an increase in strength and flexibility.   Just keeping you informed.
